Home insurance has a coverage section called liability and medical payments to others. These coverages can be triggered when someone is injured as a result of your negligence. While each insurance company maintains a different list of ineligible dog breeds, for the most part they will all contain the following:
Chow, Presa Canario, Pitbull, Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Doberman, Rottweilers and German Shepherds
